Continental Mountain King II Folding RaceSport MTB Tyre: The tyre will suit XC riders in their marathon races or weekend trail epics whilst the 2.4 model will also appeal more extreme riders on longer travel machines. The Mountain Kings spiky intermediate design suits many riding conditions, wet or dry. Available in two sizes, 2.2 and 2.4, superb braking traction and optimum cornering are guaranteed in all types of conditions. The tread lug arrangement was developed in collaboration with professional mountain bikers, resulting in an exceptionally light yet positively tough trail tyre. The ProTection and UST models are the sensible choices for the majority whilst weight weenies and racers can take advantage of the RS (RaceSport) option. Standard versions (wire and folding) are also available. Trail riders, Cross Country racers, Alpine tourists, and Marathon riders - this is a serious intermediate tyre option. RaceSport: Designed for use in mountain bike racing, the RaceSport casing combines logical light construction and noticeably better protection against flat tyres at the very highest level. These tyres offer 30% better protection against flats than Supersonic tyres. The construction makes the differance particularly the fine and high-grade nylon fabric with an expensive, protective, rubber lining and a universal bead. Together with BlackChilli Compound, this tyre is the ultimate combination for XC racing and marathon events. Folding Tyre only Chilli Compound One size available 2.2 Weights: 500g PSI range: 50-65
