Hudz Shimano Ultegra 6700 SoftGrip STi Hoods: While Hudz 'Original' compound remains the most popular and versatile version of Enhancement Brake Hoods, SoftGrip has been a game-changer for certain riders. SoftGrip brake hoods have better shock damping ability than any other competing product. The softer material also maintains its suppleness better in bad weather than any other. SoftGrip material provides 100% more grip than the Original rubber, and is less effected by wet and cold weather. SoftGrip hoods were designed for cyclocross and other riding where grip and comfort are worth sacrificing a bit of durability. COMPATIBILITY: For use with 10-speed Shimano Ultegra 6600 and 6700, Ultegra SL, 105 series-5600, and R700 systems including 6600, 6601 and 6603 STI levers. Not compatible with 8 or 9 speed STI levers. 6mm of additional height added to the lever to fit and support your hand better (because the lever is wider and longer than the Dura-Ace 7800 less additional height is required) Hüdz-signiture finger contours on underside Available in Original and SoftGrip rubber compounds Ideal users: Cyclocross and cold, bad-weather riding Riders who spend most of their time on the hoods Riders who place a premium on comfort
