Salomon XR Crossmax Neutral Climashield Shoes: High mileage training shoe with unique climashield construction for neutral runners who want one shoe from door to trail all year long. The XR is for higher mileage, neutral runners who transition between trail and pavement. Great fit comes from sensiflex, a stretchy reinforcement on the ball of the foot, and the sensifit system to wrap around the upper instep precisely. Waterproof membrane wraps the toes and ball of the foot, but leaves the rest to breathe, so you don't soak your shoes from the inside out! An oversized tendon midsole component provides a smooth cushioned ride with energy return for long runs. The chevron pattern contagrip outsole ensures precise grip on virtually any surface. The neutral version has a 3 piece midsole with a symmetrical shape, and fully welded sensifit upper.
