Saucony Ladies PowerGrid Cortana Shoes: The only way to describe the PowerGrid Cortana is "Luxury minimalism". The new PowerGrid cushioning system is constructed of the highest quality foam and rubber compound ever used in Saucony shoes. You only have to slip a pair of these shoes on and you can feel the luxury. The Cortana is the lightest high-end cushioning shoe in the world, giving you all the protection you need, but with little bulk or added weight. The Cortana tips the scales at only £286g! The upper is made of soft but durable fabrics which hold your feet securely, yet blissfully comfortably in place. The split upper construction of "Sauc-fit" anchors the foot with one overlay around the heel, but simultaneously allows it to move with a second section flexing with the midfoot, promoting a more natural motion. By using the same last and design principles as the Kinvara, the Mirage and the Peregrine, the Cortana has the same 4mm drop from heel to-toe which puts your foot in a stronger, more balanced position and helps you mid-foot or fore-foot strike if you wish to. The added extra density strip in the midfoot provides stability if you need it but is unobtrusive if you don't.
